Here you can find tips, strategies, materials and free lessons
to help you pass each section of the IELTS exam.
In this post you will find practice question prompts for IELTS Speaking Part 2.
They've been organised into 6 common categories of question type:
Favourites
People
Events
Activities
Places
Things
If you want real exam practice, give yourself 1 minute to think about and plan your answer, then speak for 2 minutes.
I'd recommend recording yourself and listening back to your recordings.
When you listen back to yourself, think about how you could speak more fluently, with better grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
Then, repeat the exercise and rerecord yourself.
I'd also recommend transcribing yourself so that you can actually see your mistakes in writing, and also so you can measure your words-per-second to see how fluently you're speaking.
